vertinsta

Personal PDF signing workspace

Place a signature precisely on any page of your PDF.

Vertinsta provides a scrollable multi-page PDF workspace with movable and resizable fields. Add a typed or drawn signature, initials, a date, or custom text, then export a new signed copy.

An account with active access is required to use the workspace.

What this tool does

A precise self-signing workflow inside the document

Open a PDF and scroll through all of its pages in one signing view. Choose a signature, initials, date, or text tool, then click the page where the field belongs. The selected field exposes controls for editing, moving, resizing, duplicating, and removing it without changing the original file.

A typed signature can begin with the name available from your signed-in profile. You can replace that text directly or adopt a hand-drawn signature made with a mouse, pen, or touch input. When Vertinsta detects a likely horizontal signature line, nearby signature placement can ease toward that line; the alignment remains adjustable and can be bypassed.

Core capabilities

What you can do in Vertinsta

Editable signing fields

Signature, initials, date, and text fields can be selected, moved, resized, duplicated, removed, and adjusted with pointer or keyboard controls.

Typed or drawn signature

Use a profile-prefilled typed name, enter different signature text, or draw a signature on the provided canvas before placing it.

Multi-page placement

The PDF viewer scrolls through every rendered page so fields can be added wherever the document requires them.

Best-effort line alignment

The browser analyzes visible page pixels for likely horizontal lines and smoothly aligns a nearby signature when snapping is enabled.

Three-step workflow

From source file to finished download

  1. 1

    Open the PDF

Choose a PDF and wait for its pages to appear in the scrollable signing workspace.

  2. 2

    Place and refine fields

Add your signature and any initials, date, or text, then move and resize each selected field as needed.

  3. 3

    Export a new copy

Review every page and download a newly generated signed PDF while the source file remains unchanged.

What to expect

A result you can review with confidence

  • A signed-in profile name can prefill a typed signature, and you can replace it before export.
  • Selected fields show their editing controls directly above the field when room allows.
  • Signature line detection is best-effort; simple horizontal lines are more likely to be recognized than decorative or faint areas.
  • The exported PDF is a separate file with the visible field contents drawn onto its pages.

Important limits

Know where the tool stops

  • Vertinsta currently supports self-signing. It does not send recipient invitations, collect another person's remote signature, or manage a signing sequence.
  • The export does not include an independent identity certificate, tamper-evident audit trail, witness workflow, or DocuSign-style completion record.
  • Signature-line detection can miss lines or select the wrong horizontal mark; always review alignment before exporting.
  • Electronic-signature requirements vary by document and jurisdiction. Vertinsta does not determine whether a signature method is legally sufficient for your use case.
  • Encrypted, damaged, or unsupported PDFs may fail to render or export.

Common questions

Details before you begin

Can I resize a signature after placing it?

Yes. Select the placed field to reveal its controls, then resize it with the handle or keyboard controls. You can also move, duplicate, or remove it.

Will a signature automatically snap to a line?

When line snapping is enabled, Vertinsta looks for likely horizontal lines and eases a nearby signature toward one. Detection is best-effort, and you can bypass or adjust the result.

Can I send the PDF to someone else to sign?

Not through the current product. Vertinsta is a personal PDF signing and export workspace, not a recipient invitation or multi-party signature service.

Does Vertinsta replace the original PDF?

No. The workspace exports a separate signed copy and leaves your source document unchanged.
